Quinoa and Broccoli Stir-Fry

Ingredients

  • 1 broccoli
  • 1 cup of quinoa
  • 3 garlic
  • extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 splash of soy sauce
  • 1 splash of water

Preparation Method

  • The first thing of all is to wash the quinoa well with water.
  • In a saucepan, heat a splash of extra virgin olive oil and sauté the quinoa until you notice a nutty smell.
  • We add twice as much water as quinoa and cook for 12-15 minutes until the water evaporates over medium heat.
  • We remove the quinoa from the heat and cover it with a cloth. We let it rest for 5 minutes.
  • While the quinoa is cooking, we are preparing the broccoli. We cut the large stem.
  • We are separating the flowers from the broccoli as well as cutting the stem.
  • We wash it well.
  • Peel and finely chop the garlic.
  • We sauté them in a frying pan with a splash of olive oil.
  • When they are ready, add the broccoli and sauté for 2 minutes over high heat.
  • We add a splash of water and cover it until it is consumed, about 3 minutes.
  • We mix the broccoli with the quinoa.
  • We add a splash of soy sauce to taste. We sauté another 3 minutes. And it’s ready!
