Today you will learn how to prepare a delicious and nutritious dish: QUINOA AND BROCCOLI STIR-FRY
Ingredients
- 1 broccoli
- 1 cup of quinoa
- 3 garlic
- extra virgin olive oil
- 1 splash of soy sauce
- 1 splash of water
Preparation Method
- The first thing of all is to wash the quinoa well with water.
- In a saucepan, heat a splash of extra virgin olive oil and sauté the quinoa until you notice a nutty smell.
- We add twice as much water as quinoa and cook for 12-15 minutes until the water evaporates over medium heat.
- We remove the quinoa from the heat and cover it with a cloth. We let it rest for 5 minutes.
- While the quinoa is cooking, we are preparing the broccoli. We cut the large stem.
- We are separating the flowers from the broccoli as well as cutting the stem.
- We wash it well.
- Peel and finely chop the garlic.
- We sauté them in a frying pan with a splash of olive oil.
- When they are ready, add the broccoli and sauté for 2 minutes over high heat.
- We add a splash of water and cover it until it is consumed, about 3 minutes.
- We mix the broccoli with the quinoa.
- We add a splash of soy sauce to taste. We sauté another 3 minutes. And it’s ready!
